Yes, the update function is very good :) Infact i'm very happy with the c4d plugin :) ..I've found proxies to be very helpful when working with others renderers before, so it was just really a question about if they would be possible or at all useful with Octane, thats all :)

i don't think that's needed. Because we can keep any object in gpu buffer without resend that. Objecttag does this organisation for you. Also this tag provides detection the kind of changes, makes fastest. This is fastest method in universe, i think.
