Thanks smicha.
1080p took around 15m with 2GTX590.
DL AO mode. I dont know why by after testing with diferente kernels the DL AO was the best one to get a cool fog, with other kernels it gets to much dark spots.
cheers

I am also having a problem with the proxies system. I have a whole catalogue of trees that are either .obj or .skp files. When I create proxy files the leaves have a white background in the alpha channel. it seems I am unable to open an obj in the standalone version of octane. (unless I am not doing it correctly) but when I go to file > open I am only allowed to open octane files. Am I doing something wrong? It was also advertised that Octane would work seamlessly with the skatter plugin and its "render only" function. Which it does not at all. I have become increasingly frustrated with this because I do mainly architectural visualization and landscaping, as you know, is crucial. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I love the speed of octane but getting it to function properly has been really frustrating and difficult.
