Here it works fine. What's your problem with that scene?

I am not sure how it works. I know that this parameter should be used to avoid artifacts on roughly tesselated meshes, but really I don't have a sample scene that show this issue.

Can you duplicate that?
True, I have found the problem. Currently to work with HDRLS and Octane you need to have at least one viewport in Layout set to "Shaded Solid" or "Textured Shaded Solid". If you have all your viewports in "Wireframe" mode, Layout doesn't have the objects normals computed and the picking algorithm fails.

So the workaround is easy, in your scene switch the display mode of the viewport to "Shaded Solid" for example and done.

I am going to try to fix this problem, if possible. Thanks for report it.

I have tested the "export alembic" feature and it seems to be creating an invalid file. I can't load it back in to LW or modo. The "export ocs" feature works fine.

I'll download the file again but none of the scenes I had setup to use this work.

I will go back through things to check but this what I get:
fog_Nowork.png

Just to add, since the betas, I have lost this functionality.

And in Standalone? ... I only test this feature loading an alembic file in Standalone and works fine. Not sure about how it works with other packages.

Are you sure that you have the last Octane.dll and Octane.dat files inside your LW/bin folder? ... here all works fine. Anybody else have this problem?

I just tried loading the alembic file into the standalone and it works. It would be great if the alembic file worked in other applications too, since we already have direct .ocs export for the standalone.

I just wanted to confirm that the fog scene is working fine for me. I hope you sort it out.

Thanks Funk, Juanjo,
One asks to make sure all is right. I have something amiss apparently.

I shall endeavor to find the problem.
Thanks for the info.
