Thank you comments no it's my own variation of the skin shader literally spent a year making.
It extremely complex node set up. But it does the job but there is room for improvement which I will work over this year

I wouldn't even know how to create an SSS. Or even how to modify an existing one. UGH!

I was exactly the same position you a year ago. I didn't know anything and the only reason I'm now doing what I'm doing
This because spent literally your my life reading and learning about it. Quite simply read everything contained within this forum
Re: SSS it isn't too hard to actually crate and octane material that has basics of sss
The most of it has been talked about and given examples free you to download so you shouldn't really have any trouble in creating your own

I think this is why working with an unbiased Rendering engine is so wonderful.
If you think about how real world lighting works, how light scatters through our skin and reflects in the blood that's running underneath it you can pretty much take that knowledge and theory and transfer it to the digital world.
Just like lighting a scene in Poser is SOOOOOO different from lighting it in the real world.
