does anyone knows, if its possible to run a AMD and a Nivida card on a mac together? i have just a AMD left over.

i have now 2 cards in my mac, the nvidia gtx 680 is just for the octane render, but ist still the same after a while its stops with rendering...

no clue how to fix this

maybe there is another app that is using cuda, have you tried to disable the save screen?

p.s. Please, put your hw and sw system in your signature
which card have you put inside your mac?

i think its not a cinema 4d plugin thing. also with the standalone a get an error after a while. its a little bit annoying that now one can tell me if i can work with
the gtx 680. do i have really buy a nvidia titan? i can close this thread and hope someone can help me. i don't get it, i have just the nvidia gtx 680 for the octane
and it seems to be not enough?

hi diego,
this is a renderer error which shows a cuda error. Can you show Octane Log window?

this is the octane render log. i think its not a problem with the cinema plugin, its a problem with my gtx 680 on the mac pro.

i'm happy for every help

a error is occured on octane renderer. Maybe a HW or driver problem.

I have the same Problem with my 2 GTX 780 ti's... I allways get a Render Failure! Thats not annoying that bullshit. I dont mean the plugin is bullshit. Guys I cant work. It costs a lot of Projects I cant accept. Thats a lot of Money.

I hope you guys will help me. The Cards are new and tested. Im playing a lot of games and do not get Errors or Fail-Messages and stuff like that.

Cinema 4D R14 v1.51.2 (Win 7 64bit) = Render Failure!
Cinema 4D R15 v1.51.2 (Win 7 64bit) = Render Failure!
Octane Render 1.51 (Win 7 64bit) = 2 GPUs (1 Failed)!

check your textures, how big? try single gpu's and post results. If you have very big textures, can cause this kind of errors.One gpu is used by system and has less memory than other
