You should look into 2GB GTX 460 they aer smaller than GTX 480 and not really big. If a 480 fits than GTX 460 definitely fits.

But GTX 480 is awesome as well, probably 30-40% faster.

Anyway they are ordered. I hope I'll get them this week. If they don't fit in the Cubix box, I will make an other cover for the Cubix. As it is a simple sheet of metal folded in U with some holes, it should not be too difficult to make. ;)

they will fit, no problems ;)
do note that you will only get 2/3rd of the performance until nvidia releases the cuda 3.2 toolkit, which supports the remaining 1/3'rd of the cards.

@Radiance : Thanks for these informations ! These cards should bring me a second breath, because my current scene is growing in weight : I have improved the textures a lot and now the dirt is mapped on the textures of the walls. I still have to retexture with dirt the bottom of the lowest big stones and the border of the pavement, add some more props and details and enlarge a bit the scene to allow more angles of view.

No image yet this morning, but some new will come soon ! ;)

did u try to play with dof, so building can be more out of focus?
and perhaps u can put some camera response film filter, vignette, something for 70's :)

I have not yet done many effects, because I'm limited by the angle of view. I have mainly worked on modelling and texturing so far. As soon as I'll have enlarged the set to allow more freedom with camera locationand target, I will try to shot some more interesting views.
