@mib2berlin: thanx for the suggestion. we got windows running on the machines at the office. sounds convenient enough to run a multiboot system - in theory. in practice, it turned out though, that rebooting a machine just to access a couple of features that ones os of choice can't run, is kind of a pain in the ass...
