Hi karba

I think it's a hard job, but octane for 3dsmax is more and more buggy.

i have a problem with textures in this version.
Textures (image texture and float image texture) are not rendered :(
could you check please

Hi Karba

Sorry, it's my fault. Octane doesn't like french caracters (é, è, à ...)

Yes same with "Ü, Ö, Ä, ß" in german. You have to avoid this stuff in your naming. ;)

@Karba

thank you

another request:

I noticed you have disabled stereo camera with spherical fov. Is it possible to enable it?

I did two separated spherical renders, I paired them in stereophotomaker....and it works.

p.s.
in Max 2012 the low priority column is out of the passepartout: I read "priorit"

Thanks Karba, much more stable than the last version.

I am still however getting a small problem with 'movable proxy' objects. When it is active the octane viewport takes over 1 min to load. when octane proxy is not ticked the viewport appears in under 15 seconds.

This seems to do with the complexity of the object. For example, this particular one is a group consisting of 5000 objects. Is it normal that setting a movable proxy increases the processing time by so much?

Something is really strange with movable proxy option in this release. I rigged a car and all wheels, break discs and tires are linked. All objects i am done with rigging and linking i atomatically make invisible, so i allways know what parts are done and which not. The showing and hiding of movable proxie parts takes sometimes very long and sometimes they do not hide or show, even when i click the reload button in the render viewport! Only solution. Save szene, restart max and contiunue working! Tryied with the same szene in 1.00 - there it works without problems!

Chris!
