I have to start an animation and I need 10 days of computing (pmc) and 3000 frames.
I'm working on toon animation that's all exterior and the performance is good with the latest Max build. No memory issues here. I've already rendered 3 scenes with over 30 million polys (including instances) and one of my GPU's has 1.2 Gigs of mem only and it worked fine.
BUT Max frame buffer is slower than Octane view. Also geometry transfer process takes almost half of my rendering time. To make it faster I use Octane proxies for all heavy models. It makes geometry processing faster, but decreases rendering time.

To sum it up, nope, no show stopping issues here.
