The daylight model time setting seems to differ than the standalone version. I test at 5pm and sun is higher, where as it is lower in standalone just above horizon.

Thanks Karba but no support for nvidia 285 until final release? The standalone is working really well on my old 285 but not the plugin.

I think there could be a memory leak in Octane plugin.
If I leave Max running with Octane window opened and paused, then after a while it eats up all my memory and crashes Max.
Could you investigate?

Same with me. It also exists in version 1.2.

Hello Karba,

Few questions about possibility of new features in future releases.

Programming wise..
I would like to ask if it would be Ever possible to update the Multiscatter object while Octane viewport is open&rendering? For example the Seed or Max count visa versa. Or should I not wait for it anytime in the future ?

Sometimes I need to pass the scene back and forth between Vray and Octane. For passes and stuff.
Is it possible to do a reverse a basic material conversion.

With my lacking maxsricpt knowledge I wasn't good enough to write a Octane spesific light lister.
Can anyone in the forum care to create one.

One last thing. Just a heads up. Yesterday I tried to render a high res. image 10.000 x 8000 pixels.
When it continues the render whole windows screen, also 3Dsmax windows flickers when octane refreshes screen.
No problem with the render though.

My system is Win7x64 + GTX465(just for display) + GTX680 4GB + 16GB ram

Thank you for the new version.
Best,

Color is incorrect!
1 - I used a texture image.
2 - standard color.

I tired to pick up the settings for "response Linear", but these are very close to the standard. but I could not get it right transaction! I'm even afraid to make active the sun  ..

just not offer to use textures instead of the standard colors, you know them a little limit ... :?
the fact is that I am using "RGB to Color Name Mapping (Triplet and Hex)" and the colors do not match, how can I use different settings "response".

But this not only in this version!

white - white thanks though, would be for it :(

you can use "Color Correctiom Texture" using gamma 2.2, but this is not entirely correct.

Did you correctly configure the Gamma/LUT in 3dsMax ?
I mean : enable it, set gamma to 2.2, check Affect color selectors.
