certainly better for the pillow now....now still to work on the blanket (as I know....and I know very little, the softness of the blankets depends on the tassellation of the geometry and in some few parameter of the "collision objects", sooner or later I must learn it too

)

The softness doesn´t relay on the tessellation. The amount of tessellation (or subdivision) makes finer detail, since the mesh is more detailed itself. If you want more softness you´ll have to play with the settings of the cloth simulation in your 3d software. In my personal case I can control it by tweaking a "preserve structure" setting into Modo. I could make it softer, but I wanted to make it look a bit "harder", since it´s a blanket, not a sheet, so that kinda strong look seems fine to me.

you're right Paquito, I express myself bad. I meant that with more subdivisions (and with the appropriate settings of the cloth simulator) the mesh can produce more bendings....am I right this time?

Sure, the heavier the mesh, the finer the bends will be.
