Nice little bear. Nice fabric materials too. Plaster on the wall is not bad, but more contrast and less intensity on the bump texture would be more realistic imho.
I agree that the lighting lacks of contrast. Obviously, three point lighting is difficult here, due to the close background (no rim lamp), but a lamp on a bedside table for example could bring interesting shadows and a warm lighting (Diffuse/emitter material on incandescent bulb with low color temperature around 2800 K for example). Rim lighting on the fur could be interesting if possible.
A scene with much potential. Can be improved with some care on few details.
