Good release :) . I have come across a bug with blackbody/texture emission materials. There is light emitting from the materials but there is no self illumination visible on the mesh itself.

Hi Karba

New release ! great.

I have a personnal request, that may interest other user.
I'm used to test textures while rendering with octane, but I have to stop and restart OctaneRender viewport in order to take in account the new texture (I mean a texture that was already in memory and that has been changed and resaved with the same name).
Is it possible that in a nxt release, such a change will be taken in account automatiquely as 3dsmax does.
Thanks in advance. :D

I don't think it is possible as long as 3dsmax plugin use only texture path to track scene changes. If this path is the same it is impossible to detect the change.

This release seems to render slower on final output compared to recent release of 3.01 standalone release. Even with a simple plane and teapot. The plugin renders for 19 seconds at 640 x 480.The kernel used is pathtracing and lighting done with daylight system. The 3.01 standalone release however renders this scene for 11 seconds. I can't understand why the plugin looks vastly different from the standalone release in the case of materials and settings.

I karba,
Isn't it possible to add an update button on the texture parameter panel ?

Is this bug only in my case?
When I am using HDRI environment octane viewport display nothing (checker all over the octane realtime window), or just simply black.
If I am turning using hdri off - everything fine, when octane viewport already opened and rendering scene without hdri environment - it ok and I can even turn it on and it works. But I can`t render when hdri on at the very beginning. Sorry if all of this text is confusing

Hi Karba

I think i found a bug..regarding splines, they are not renderable unless i put and edit mesh or edit poly mod on top. can Anybody confirm this please?
