I'm test rendering a file, so a frame rendered with prxy OFF takes about 80MB more on the card, but renders like 1 minute faster at (3min16sec), so even with the mesh loading time each frame to render..it render faster than if i use prxy ON, it takes about 4min20sec per frame but of course it doesnt load the meshes each time.. is this normal? Oh yeah with proxy ON temperature goes about 1 to 2 degrees up than with prxy off...
so is this normal behavior?

this is the price to pay...now.
It's not necessary to turn on proxies for everything but for the heaviest meshes that fill the vram.
For outdoor animations in vray I used always bruteforce and it tooks more time (5x) than irradiance+light cache.
Now with Octane and Multiscatter we can render full HD detailed masterplan animations in few minutes (per frame) with one single workstation.
I think it's impressive.
The only thing I need now is the implementation of the architectural glass material.
Motion blur and displacement can wait.

				@Karba
ies don't work in both meshes or light objects....

				Hi Gabriele,
Yes im only proxying the heavy objects as u said...Octane speed is Still Impressive to say the least i totally agree with you...i just wanted to make sure i wasnt alone and that it was not my problem:)...gotta buy more GPU's!
Mblur can wait yes...but man do i need displacement!
Thx

				do you plan multiscatter texture or something to random object colors ?

That is strange. Just tested, it works.
Can you show your pictures?
