Maybe some user will paid for a fully intigrated plugin.
I think to an Fully integrated like Renderman as "Cineman".
Maybe Octance can get a RenderMan Interface Specification (RISpec).
So that when a application can use Renderman, we can use octane as it.
For the Renderman Interface, there are many other Renderer.
(Delight, AIR, Aqsis, jrMan, Pixie, RenderDotC, and Pixars PhotoRealistic RenderMan)
Pixie is OpenSource. Maybe You can see how they integrate the interface:

Cinema has an Interface to that renderers.
And High-End Apps have it too.
With this Interface, you can get a Pipeline to many other Apps.

I think I just had a minor stroke with excitement...
Ive had a bit of an octane hiatus awaiting C4D developments...
I've been wanting to use Octane for my mograph setups for so long!
This is very exciting! Instancing and motion blur...
Im giggling like a child!
