very nice and clean, the light behind the mirrors are great, I was having trouble with something like that, you are using large plane lights?

how long did it take you to set up the lights and bumps :)
I can see your take on the vray - it tends to have that certain plastic look, I guess octane has one now - warm and diffuse

how many textures per map are you using - like on that grey wall, I always go with a cheap option of setting up bump and a slight glossy, this one looks like there's a specular texture and a diffuse texture along with a bump or a normal texture?

yes large octane planar lights with 3 different colors: white, slight orange, slight cyan
I donno how many maps I use, in Max you have the textures inspector and you can count them.
The gray wall is a two color texture mixed with a mask, bump, ref and specular map.
I instance all textures. For example specular is instanced on reflection but mixed differently.
I never use normal maps except for stone wall textures or when I miss a displacement tool.

I thought it was not compatible with 3dsmax plugin.. if I try to use Hair & Fur the renderviewport won't start..how did you do it?

edit: found it..convert to mesh ; )
