May I ask how you do animate in octane. There are no real tools for that no? Am my missing something about the Max plugin for example? Just to say that I only do stills for now and I do use sketchup or modo for my models then export to octane standalone for rendering purposes...In that process I dont see how I could animate characters..?

Well i dont use Octane standalone, although if i did, i would use the scripts available to export the assets to the standalone and then render there frame by frame..

since the max plugin i so integrated, you can just work as u would normally work in max, model, animate in it...and then choose Octane as the renderer...

in my opinion Oct for Max has much better integration than any other renderers available for max...and whats best...the feature list is growing constantly and quite fast.

...hum. I cant understand why octane orients so obviously to Max ? There are so many renders for max... Main problem with max is iits mega commercial approach. To say the least i would appreciate Octane not to fall in that direction
Wait and see!!!? I cant hide my fear on the subject...
