Just reverted back to the 197.45's. Same issue, performance speed of one card but with 2 being at 96% load. seems these drivers are slightly better speed wise then the new release but my problem still remains..I am baffled!

can you show me a screenshot of the device manager panel in octane render ? File -> Device Manager
with both cards added ?

No, you're definately not wasting our time, we have one other user with the same problem, so i'd very much like to find a solution to it.

have you tried swapping the cards ?
and/or connecting your monitor to the other card instead ?

Ye heres the other things I have tried

Cards swapped round
Single monitor on all 4 outputs of the 2 cards,
2 monitors, one on each card just incase,
2 monitors on first card then moved 2 monitors 2 second card

Nvidia control panel:-197.45
Physx had to be ON otherwise the second card wouldnt appear (197.45's)
In manage 3D settings both cards would only appear if the option THREADED OPTIMIZATION was set to auto or on

Nvidia control panel:-256 release
physx could be set to any card and even cpu, octane would always see the 2 cards with these drivers maybe something to do with the cuda driver version 3.01..have no idea really
it gives a new option in manage 3d settings to enable cuda on all cards....thats why i thought the update would work but no joy

Ok,
We'll look into it.
It's a very strange issue as we've many other users with the same setups with no issues,
only one other has reported the problem.

it should be pretty useable with one GPU already not ? :)
We're investigating the issue tomorrow, we've one customer with the same issue so we'll work with him. (it's easier as he does'nt have demo limits)
