Hi there,
I am a student in Hamburg and I unfortunately overlooked there's a student discount. Will the educational discount be added to the 50% off special super-duper week discount? =) (I'm thinking about buying a second license for my PC.)

P.S.: I don't really know where to ask this, so please excuse these off-topic questions:
I want to buy a new graphics card and thought about a GTX470.
1.) Will there be a problem with "only" 1280 MB memory? Are there good alternatives in the 300 € segment?
2.) What would I do if I needed a card with more memory for some scenes? Could I theoretically buy a low-priced card with more memory and use this one just for certain renderings needing extraordinarily much memory or how can I deal with this problem once I have a GTX470?

I'd recommend the GTX470, with some clever usage you can make big scenes with it.
And you'll love the speed.
