screendump 6 shows the default device manager. The active Cuda Device shows nothing. I changed that to one of the two available graphic cards on the computer (screendump 7). And it works!

Hi,

This appears to be a bug in the cuda 3.0 toolkit / drivers for mac.
we're working on fixing this for beta 2.2, it has been reported by another mac user on a mac pro with 2 GPUs.

just to make sure, you've a mac pro with 2 GT 120 cards right ?

Right, I got two GT 120 cards.
The fun did not last for long. It works fine with the demo files, but it still crash during loading when I try my own files exported from formZ. I have tried a few export options but not all combinations. I have enclosed one of my exported files.

platform = windows (not mac)

group by = materials ? if available

units = meters

enable include normals, enable fix smooth shading

enable textures



for facetted/objects i don't know, you'll have to experiment a bit.
