I have a similar problem with a long path. For example:
Octan is instal in C:/Program files/Refractive Software/Octan
when I want to open texture from F:/Projects/Buildings/Render/wood.jpg it show me the same error. But if I copy texture to the desktop it's OK.

En gros, je pense comme tu le disais que c'est un problème de chemin d'accès aux fichier, mais ça bug quand même quand je veux ajouter une image ou autre.

Hi. I'm trying to test some scenes with Octane demo.
On simple scene (like Cornell box) - everything OK.
But with bigger (~50-100 mb) Octane crash.
Linux Mint 8 x64, Gnome, GeForce 8800 GTS 512. Scenes converted from Blender 2.49b
...ups it can't load 6.1 mb scene! Simple Kitchen...
I can't attach it - too big?

make sure you're using the correct export options, enable vertex normals and HQ, enable triangles and disable nurbs etc...
also make sure you don't have any spaces or non-latin characters in your filenames or paths.

also keep in mind you're GPU does not have a lot of memory to support big meshes.

Octane crash when try to open a scene/mesh with two monitors. Disable second monitor and open correctly, enable second and continiue working. It is a bug in octane or bug in OS?
Test this on winXPsp2

It's a cuda issue that we haven't found a solution for yet.
We're hoping the next cuda release by nvidia will fix this.
