Sure, I will be more than happy to alpha test the MLT with this scene if possible at all. It's a 1.2 GB scene without textures, it will be more easy to test in here... I can try to strip the scene, but this lead to scramble the materials.Thought that was fixed..
I'll keep a copy of the scene for further testing.

Some day / night tests - need MLT ASAP :)

day test 30 minutes, pathtracing reached 5000 samples, too much noise..

night test 30 minutes, pathtracing and reached 13366 samples again very noisy..

more shots same technique:
day1.png
5000 samples - 15 minutes
night.png
12000 samples - 10 minutes

I didn't remove the glass on windows in purpose.. without the glass this renders pretty fast..

those fake area lights are really unuseable, i think it might be best to wait a bit until 2.3 is out ;)

Here is another quick update till I wait for MLT :)
test3.jpg
Image had pretty much noise in it, no noise reduction software used, just resize and some post for vignetting and chroma..
MLT will clear noise for no time on scenes like this, lamp on the ceiling are just wholes with lamp geometry on them..

scene info : 7+ million polygons , it's a large office with many rooms and have a lot of furnitures... Octane render this with such ease...

Here is the full sized version...
test33.jpg
The main light comes from illuminated curtains on windows, and thats makes all the noise in the scene...

this project is getting better and better, Andrian
as soon as the noise will be gone (with MTL) you'll have some very good photos to show your client :)
