it may help, if you use an intermediate app like this one: http://www.mootools.com/plugins/us/3dbr ... /index.asp (there is a light version also to try). use this myself mostly to reduce polygons, but had also some success "repairing" skewed .objs. though never had one, that crashes octane...

Thanks to all for the answers and advices,

when I have time, I will try as I have suggested (Using, for exemple, Blender),

but honestly I'm afraid that for the moment archicad and octane are not ready for a good marriage !

Think of having to go through any other software before finally open a model .obj in octane,

is not an interesting perspective about work flow !

For my curiosity, in the next few days, Iwill try to see if other softwares can open files .obj from archicad...
