Well they aren't 480's, but my 470's showed up today. Initial tests against the gts250 I've been using the last 2 months are great. On a highly reflective scene I'm getting about triple the performance. Much higher on the simpler chess scene. Standard idle noise is actually much quieter then the gts250, and way less then my old 8800gt. You will notice it when it starts going full bore, but even then it is still not too bad. These are just base models of the gtx470's (1 EVGA and the other is MSI). My motherboard here only has a single PCIe slot, so I will try them at my work next week in SLI (once multi-GPU is supported).

multi-gpu does not use SLI and in fact you will have to turn off SLI to use multiple GPUs with 2.2
