i add two images
firts it's done with stand alone
second it's done with octane for max


the noise still is a problem, the reflect too, value cero or color cero is so reflective like a mirror, values or colors in 1 or 0.002 is so blur
can someone helpe me ?

Hi karba really thanks :D about the update but in the last Octane version light octane and ies doesnt work or its a bug???? here´s a test i made with the new octane plugin version im using 3ds max 2012 64 bits version and windows, when i use octane light plane to the maximum value it get´s not the right ilumination. and same with ies lights it doesnt show the right power of light. and i made a comparision between 2.56b and 2.57 ies lights.

That is strange... It works for me. Can you test it with Color too, not with temperature?
And I think, you have incorrect scene scale. Light object is too big.

I can't see any difference between this two images, noise looks the same.

hi karba that is becouse i been use photoshop, in the first image maxsamples in 1600, reduce noise in photoshop, second image maxsamples 4000, reduce noise in photoshop, also both pathtracing and 8 maxdepth
i'll upload image both view without reduce noise and you will see the difference

i see too the image is not so clear, i don't know why

good evening, also i add image with settings of scene, the noise is the same, in the front of camera, please karba help me
i add image with 16000 maxsamples, 8 maxdepth, time 1 hour 5 minutes, octane for 3ds max, the image don't have post production in photshop is the pure image done in 3ds max and octane for 3ds max
i hope someone can tell me why happen this

Sorry, But I can't see any visible noise level difference. :shock:
