Here is a video tutorial about lighting techniques. It shows :
_ Sun & sky (latitudeLongitude, XYZ)
_ Textures (color, hdri)
_ Aera lights (blackbody, texture emission)

Nice work as always :)
However, you seem to be using a spherical HDR map at one point, which does'nt render correctly...
you can use HDRshop (free v1 version) to remap them to lat/long type...

Do you mean that spherical HDRI are not supported? :|

This is great, would love to see more Octane tutorials around. One thing, it would really benefit from narration, or at LEAST some music or something.
