Can Octane stay open during animation rendering?

When rendering animations from Blender using the plugin for v2.54, Octane opens a new instance and reloads all textures for each frame. Is it possible to keep Octane active during this process and prevent it from closing after each frame? I would like to have Octane stay open to save time and also to prevent the lose of application focus every time Octane reopens.

Thanks,

This is how Octane renders animation in general, but I do believe the folks at Refractive are working on a solution.

I hope it will be implemented in the future. When I rendered this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDD3KkT3sAQ ,it was rather annoying that the actual rendering process took ~20 seconds, when the exporting took triple more..
