Same here. Crashes as soon as I hit out of core with 3GB or more on mine 2070s 8 GB card. I have to turn off denoising and RTX and then it will maybe work. NVlink doesn't help/doesn't work.
Back to 4.05.
Maybe one day when I buy 24 GB card I will be back. It has been over a year now and my subscription is a waste of money.

I have problem only this ver. of Octane 2020.2.0.0, on every previous version of Octane, everything works fine and I've been using Octane commercially for 1.5 years

It works fine when I have scenes that fit in VRAM, I do architecture work and I have a lot of assets and my scenes are often out of core. Maybe it is something wrong with my config, I don't know. But 4.05 works perfectly.
I would be grateful if someone could share a large scene that works for him in out of core in 2020, so I can test it.

So that's what "nested dielectrics" meant? I thought it was some nodal thing. It's simply having meshes inside meshes with glass type materials? That wasn't possible before? I mean it's cool. Just didn't understand the term.

Tonemapped and untonemapped EXR

To get EXR image exported correctly I need to check get full HDRI image, but then the normal LW exported render gets the wrong gamma. Is it possible to export full HDRI exr untonemapped and normal 8 but PNG tonemapped image ( as seen in IPR ) in the same render pass ?

You have more information about the new features here, including the nested dielectrics:

This is not possible currently because the same option is used for saving and to get the rendered images, but I'll take a look at it to check if it is possible adding a new option to get the tonemmaped 8bit data.
