Sigershaders for Octane Renderer | Max

We are happy to announce the new Siger Studio product: Sigershaders XSMP for Octane Renderer | Max. Octane Renderer for 3ds Max materials (more than a thousand) will be included in the Studio and Pro Octane editions.
Current Studio Edition users with a valid Maintenance Plan will get the new major version of XSMPmax (2.x.x) with Octane materials for free.

About 70% of the programming and material development work is currently completed. By the way, the materials are not blindly converted from other rendering engines - they are created completely from scratch.

So far, the ETA has not yet been set, but it will be soon.

Separately, I would like to thank the OTOY team who contributed to the product development by granting the NFR license and friendly support.

Some material previews:

That is wonderful. I hope to at least try out a beta soon! The lack of Max materials for Octane kills me.

Here you can see some more material for the new major version of XSMP which will be released soon. Development work is completed, final testing, documentation, etc. are underway.

I think the staff disappeared, I bought the plugin (100 Euros) I had assistance with the first problem, but now almost 1 month I get no email response from them. I sent several emails ...

1. The scene would not open, they sent me a fix, but did not warn that I had to change Path. OK ...

2. All the libraries I create are not saved in the plugin, I tried to login as an administrator but also does not work.

I think you have to think 2x before you buy

Hi samsue,

first of all, plugin with Octane Render support still not released - you can't buy (will be released very soon new major version with Pro Octane edition, we are now making changes to our site).
About emails. Perhaps we not receive your email. Some time ago our server was attacked and we lost a lot of emails. Please send new email to support(at)sigerstudio.eu and describe problems. I can connect to your computer via TeamViewer or AnyDesk to fix issues (we will agree on the connection time).
And you're the first user (out of about 10K users) to complain about unsaved libraries :o Don't you think you're doing something wrong yourself?
Sidenote: Is no need to login as an Administrator, XSMP runs at the User level.

Regards, Regimantas

1. "first of all" who said I'm trying to use with Octane? "second of all" in the Plugin documentation is clearly stated that it can be used to organize materials from other engines.

2. In the course of 2 months I sent about 5 emails, and a few days ago I sent a new msg through the website. all without reply, which surprised me, because at first I had a good first impression of the support. Until I posted here, to see if I could get a reaction.

3. It was my first thought, I didn't say it was my fault or the plugin, I said I had a problem and after 2 months I couldn't contact you. Don't assume things, it sounds very arrogant.

is a good plugin, I like the design, although drag and drop doesn't work much more enjoyable to use than the concurrents. I don't know if I'm going to buy the materials library, too, I like to make my own materials, but since I need to give agility at work, I'm still thinking.
