Node Editor 2019.1.3 Problems

I'm on OSX running c4dr20 and Octane 2019.1.3. I'm having a lot of general problems with the node editor. There appears to be new functionality, with new icons on the top bar of the nodes. I find some nodes get greyed out for no reason, nodes are hard to grab and move etc, especially when zoomed out and working on a complex node tree, it's too easy to click the wrong thing. I'm not sure I find these additions any kind of improvement!

Is there a tutorial on using these new features? Is there a way to go back to the old functionality without downgrading?

Show me what's the problem on your side with some video. I think you need some time to get used to new features. Greyed nodes are disabled probably you clicked small icon on node

I think you're right, it's easy to do that when you're zoomed out trying to move nodes around.

But as well as that, I'm finding I can hover over the top bar of one node, I see the hand icon and I can move the node, then I hover over another node and all I see is the input text icon and I can't move it. Seems random.

Well I would happy if you record a small video to show it. BTW I can make small fixes on gui to avoid user mistakes.

This feature for disabling node is totally unnecessary, every time i disabling node instead to move, very annoying,

Agreed, this plugin badly needs the attention of a UX designer. As more features get added it just becomes more of a chore to use and navigate.

I've retouched it in 2019.1.4
