Hello enricocerica!
on the screenshot i noticed misprint button "E_port OBJ/MTL only" ;)
Haven't tried the script yet - awaiting my authorization number for octane :)

Hi!
First off all THANK YOU!! for this superb plugin! No more 2.49!! Im just so happy :)

The secound thing is im getting this error when im exporting using a already existing .ocs file.

The error occurs independent of what I save in octane, so any change in the default export settings and saving them to a .ocs file causes the error.

Not sure this has to do with the script :?
Could you check if the ocs file has been created with the same Octane version?

Yes it probably isn't the scripts fault, I just thought you'd might know what the problem is :)

And yes .ocs files were created on the same octane version.
Ive searched this forum for the anwser but got none. The was a guy who posted a similar error but got ignored in the main 23v5 version thread.
Despite this error in all other aspects the script works perfectly, its so smooth to use and makes working with blender and octane so much easier!

Thanks much enricocerica! Been waiting for this anxiously.

I had some issues getting the script running at first but then figured out what I was doing wrong and thought I would post to help anyone else having this issue. The main issue was that when I hit the render button in a default scene, the button would hi-light but it wouldn't launch the Octane executable. However after some tinkering, I learned that there needs to be a 'Sun' lamp in the scene and then it will launch just fine. Hope that helps!

Yeah, if the export sunlight checkbox is activated, you need a sun in the scene and it should be selected, to avoid the problem you may also descactivate the export sunlight checkbox. This kind of issues should be fixed in the final version ;)

Hi enrico! Is this script only for Beta 2.2 RC1?
What about Beta 2.3 v5 which is current?
I was dissapointed today because i haven't recieved authorization code yet for Beta 2.2
and this script is not working with Beta 2.3 v5.
Blender just hangs with black screen. A bit frustrating. :|
maybe i installed wrong drivers?

Cuda driver ver. 3.02
Cuda runtime ver. 3.00
Nvidia display driver ver. 260.89
GTX 460 2GB
Win7 x64
Blender 2.54
Python 3.1.2

Hmmm, yea at work everything is fine for me, but at home I have a similar problem where Blender just hangs, even with export sun feature disabled. I looked at the console screen and it's giving me an "Exception: Octane plug-in: Cannot find scenes directory" despite the fact that I defined the binary, project path and project name (with no spaces just to be sure). The only real difference is at work it's XP 64 and home it's Win 7 64, but I don't see how that would make any difference.
