Changes:
  • Added Unreal Sequencer support
    Two versions have been added.
An integrated version that adds the octane render results to the unreal postprocess pipeline (Similar to how viewport rendering works)
And a octane render version that outputs the octane render results and can active render passes for compositing.
  • Upgraded to 2019.1.RC5
  • Added additional CineCamera Support (Apature, resolution, fov, fstop)
  • Added Time support for materials, allowing material animations. (Only active during sequencer)
  • Added Octane Plugin Settings. Currently it exposes material conversion settings.

Fixes:
  • Fixed progressively slower mesh component loading
  • Fixed crash that happened when using substance materials
  • Fixed rare light component crash
  • Fixed skeleton mesh component bug on reloading scene
  • LUT files are no longer empty when loaded from .cube
  • Transparent materials are no longer a little bit rough by default
  • Fixed issue with roughness conversion
  • Switching node type now correctly updates material node graph

I want to thank you all for the great work you are doing on the unreal plugin. The speed of development and fixing of bugs is really commendable.

Thank you for the Update, works fine so far.
Question : Is it possible to render "Animated ORBX" with sequencer ? ( Because I don't get it )

Do you mean exporting a sequencer animation to orbx? or do you mean animating a loaded orbx with sequencer?

I did export an animated ORBX file with C4d ( Alembic ORBX ).
No problem to render it with batch render in Stand Alone ( ORBX Animation worx fine ).
Imported it to Unreal with ORBX Importer , did a camera animation with sequencer , camera animation renders fine but the ORBX animation from C4d doesn't move , stays in place .
Also in Unreal Octane Gui , the ORBX Animation works fine.

when rendering, it seems like UE is not giving Octane time to complete the rendering of the frame, so when you render, it comes out as grainy sequences but without the complete animation
