Looks like the 2019.x engine bug. Standalone is also affected.

Has anyone noticed that the colors in the “New Daylight Model” settings are not the same as in the standard Octane Edition. I downloaded the DEMO Standalone Edition of Octane and copied the color (Hex) from Sky, Sunset and Ground colors to Blender 2.80 Octane Edition and it looks the same now!

Hi,

I have the same problem like eisklotz. I have a 1080 Ti card.
And I cant start the octane server. I`m working on Windows 7 and it gives me that error message:

"octane.dll is either not intended to run on Windows or contains an error. Reinstall the program with the original installation media, or contact the system administrator or software vendor for assistance."

You can do it the same way like you do with Cycles renders. Either use OpenExr Multilayer or use Compositor with File Output node.
Cheers!

Hello there,

We've just released 20.1, with blender 2.8 and octane 2019.1 RC3. This version includes OctaneDB feature and dozens of bug fixes. Looking forward to your feedback about it.

Known issues:
- OSX/Linux versions are not supported yet
- The motion blur feature is during development
- The backward-compatibility issue of environment and volume nodes

We plan to get these three issues fixed in the coming 20.2 versions.
