Hi Guys

Im just trying to distinguish the difference between the version 4 releases, and the new 2018 offering.
I have a v4 licence, been an hobbying Octane user since the release of v3.

Is my version of Octane v4 going to cease to be updated in place of the new 2018 version?
Im always keen to keep up to date with the new developments offering, already noticed vectron being a 2018 only addition?

What are my options, the information on the site is a bit confusing with regards all the different subscription models etc.
Is v4 no longer getting support in place of 2018? What are my options going forward.

Reall appreciate any clarity that can be given.

If you look at the features mentioned in the beginning of the 2018 commercial release thread you get added stuff that are not part of V4.
The big pieces of V4 for me at least was the denoiser and the universal material with OSL shaders.
2018's has the cryptomatte, Spectron light, and Vecton shapes.
Generally, 2018 has more than V4, but is subscription based a opposed to 'owned", and you either go Studio which is limited, vs Enterprise, which has all extended features. Both have the same rendereing tools, but only enterprise can use 20 GPUs and you have included access to use of every app-specific plugin.

External: 6 Titan X Pascal, 2 GTX Titan X
Plugs: Enterprise
