Hi thanulee,
CUDA error 700 is Nvidia drivers related, or timeout related.
Which Nvidia drivers have you installed, and have you installed Standalone to change TdrDelay?

I have tested with many drivers no luck. Same error 700 happens in v4 version as well. Atm im at 417.35
I have standalone installed. What is TdrDelay that needs to be changed ? I used to mess with it with substance painter instructions, but can u please resend me how to and what values do i need to set? thanks a lot

Hi,
do you have a X99, or X299 motherboard with 3/4x GPUs?
If yes, please have a look at this solution:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=68650
About TdrDelay, what happens is that the Windows system instantly disable the GPU drivers, if it does not receive a signal after some seconds.
By default the TdrDelay is set to 2s, i.e. if one kernel call takes more than 2s, Windows kills the driver.
If you install the Standalone via installer, we change some Windows registry to better work with GPU Rendering.
To change the timeout, either run the Standalone installer or manually set the TdrDelay key to something like 10s or so. See here:

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/librar ... 18(v=vs.85).aspx

In the Standalone installer we set these values:

WriteRegDWORD HKLM "SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers" TdrLevel 3
WriteRegDWORD HKLM "SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers" TdrDelay 10jh

Some Win 10 users have set the TdrDelay at 60, to solve their stability issues with CUDA.

Thanulee,

Try this link. Looks like the one before had some extra characters on it.
