I have 2 scenes. One with 13 million polygons and other with 6 million. In the scene with 6 million polygons octane says that there are to many vertices.

Your scene with 13 million vertices probably has a lot of the Modo Mesh items set to Live Geometry Update, which means their vertices go into their own Octane Mesh nodes, rather than the global Mesh node.

You can change the Live Geometry Update default in the settings. Setting all geometry Live Geometry Update to ON results in a slower load time.
