Holy Bat-nostalgia! I have been working on some methods to quickly create and animate stylized characters/caricatures for my business. So, why not use some good ol' Batman 1966 (best Batman evar) for my tests? Created in Cinema 4D, rendered in Octane (of course), with the marvelous fabric shader from Raphael Rau, who has given so much to our community. Cape is simulated with xpCloth from X-Particles. I'm very happy with the motion of the cape -- it perfectly captures the feel of the satin used in the TV costume. The animation rig is a hybrid rig using mixamo as a base (with a mixamo run applied, in this case). Lots of Octane displacements, but alas, no mo-blur, as the combination of displacements and deforming geo (from the rig) don't seem to work with motion blur. Note that the cape and belt are motion blurred, as they have no displacements applied.
