Can someone help me with this drama?
Suddenly my plugin just refused any cooperation, because of:
"A valid connection is required to activate your license
please check your network settings and retry"

Of course I got net connection as you can see. Standalone version works perfect - 3.07, plug-in? depends of version last 3.07.85 when I try to activate just crashes Poser, previous version 3.06... works stabil and get back again the same info.
Did someone meet problem like this?

Hi Sinuhe,
you could check your Windows firewall or third-party firewall which blocks Poser output and then Octane plugin too.

Of course, this is the first what I checked, however I didn't change anything with my software since autumn 2016 (new Poser version), better I even worked 10 days ago with both - Poser+plug-in and standalone version. Anyway all settings of my firewall are checked and are on for Octane and Poser.

Hi Sinuhe,
this issue is quite common with 3dsMax plugin, maybe you updated your antivirus that block internet outgoing?

Hi Paride,
so, is something similar to this issue with another plug-in? By the way, it is absolutely incomprehensible for me, why plug-in after some period of inactivity wants to check its validation. I just can't understand this politic. Is this method to force to use Poser every day??? Jokes of course.
Yes, I checked my antyvirus, I deinstalled plug-in and installed again with A LOT of system restarts :).
The only thing which I did I installed few days ago new plug-in version 3.07.85, is this a sin? I doubt.
Maybe someone who made this window:

can explain me, what he was going to?
Thank You Paride for Your attention and advices.
Best regards Sinuhe.

Hi Sinuhe,
similar issue using 3dsMax is solved by fixing firewall permissions, probably it's not your case considering that you checked it.
Try asking to Octane poser plugin developer.

Thank You for the advice and next stupid question: who (where) is poser plug-in developer? I was sure this is a good place for my problem.
Best regards - Sinuhe

Thank You Paride, for Your care. Do You really think I should write directly and private to Paul? Something was changed for last years I see.
I found temporary solution:

1/ By accident I found plug-in version 3.3.3.76 on my HDD - I installed it
2/ I checked in Poser - everything is ok, no any troubles with activation and my Net connection
3/ I installed plug-in in version 3.6.2.82
4/ Oh what a nice surprise! It works :)
5/ I installed plug-in in version 3.7.0.85
6/ Guess what...f#$%&(.(#^@!!!!!
7/ I installed plug-in in version 3.6.2.82 - the same lol - I have no valid intermet connection, what a surprise
8/ Back to point 1/
9/ Stop at point 5/ STOOOP! omg...

All works, almost.
Paul, I have a question, what is wrong with last plug-in - my computer or my Win 7 installation? Or maybe I am just cursed. If yes, I can accept this meekly.

Hi Sinuhe. The Poser plugin uses the Octane API to authenticate, so if it is reporting a problem you will need to follow the advice of the OTOY engineers. May I suggest opening a Support Ticket - which will be send to the appropriate person to investigate.
