Problem with displaying an objj in the viewport

Hello!
I have installed the OCtane Demo to see if it will make sense for me to try to switch to it from keyshot.
right now I have encountered a trouble: when I import an object and click on it simply does not appear in the viewport. All the tutorials and manuals tell that it should be visible right away. I am sure that there is some little box that I need to tick.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi yeve,
it could depend on issue about units of measurement;
Octane default unit is in meters.
you could take a look at Octane documentation
https://docs.otoy.com/StandaloneH_STA/StandaloneManual.htm#StandaloneSTA/TheGeometryImportSettings.htm?Highlight=unit
and download some simple test scenes to play.

Unfortunately, it doesn't help much. I have downloaded the scenes as you have proposed, but I can't see anything displayed in the viewport. Here is the screenshot.
