SASHA-16 (V4 Weight Mapped)

Okay, this is an interesting one. A new Weight Mapped version of Victoria 4. She's free to download, but there's a weird issue. Here's the link to grab it if you want to take a look: http://www.sharecg.com/v/88918/gallery/ ... -for-POSER

There's two issues, one is easy to fix. That one is that 4 props are created which just need to be made invisible. But there is another more serious one. Here's a quick render of a character in V4 (left) and SASHA-16 (right). Both are the exact same texture. I have seen other issues as well, like where the eye just ends up a black void. Any help you can give to try and fix this issue, would love it.

A quick is to change Octane Settings / Kernel / Ray Epsilon / settings to ZERO if it doesn't interfere with other parts of your image render.

There is something about the SASHA EyeIrisConvexity setting that changes it..

This is the same settings change to fix the 'tears' abnormality in some model renders..

(thanks for showing the SASHA16 model, quite busy but something new to try out..)

That's odd. Is there that much change in SASHA-16's eye over V4's? And wow, you are right, that fixes the tears too, very nice!

SASHA-16 is VERY nice, bends a LOT better than V4 does, and has lots of tools to make clothing fit properly to her, which is REALLY nice. It's still V4, but she works SO much better for her bends. She will do nicely until Erogenesis gets Project E finished.

Speaking of Project E, I hope we can expect a RedSpec SSS for her too :D

Glad that helped, not sure if it's "THE" fix to the problem but even when you change the skin (from someone else's model, that red circle problem persists..) The eye has a lot more morphs to it than the standard V4 eye.. don't know if you need THAT much detail but meh..

I've been trying out the various parts that go with this Sasha character, and yes, for all intended purposes, it IS just a V4 but it also includes as an all in one package (after you install the V4 and V4+++ morphs) a lot of the 100's of bend fixes and other joint fixes you would normally have to add onto through various vendors.. It also includes the KarinaVagina Morphs as well.. and a whole bunch of other things..

You can change the head and body morphs for another model and skins as well.. seems to work well.. Not enough texture in the packaged Sasha. Of course, the RedSpexxSSS makes it really pop!!

I've still yet to figure out how to get the eyes to move side to side and up - down.. doesn't seem to work on mine..

never heard of Project E, what is that?

thanks for the info.

Project E is a new Poser model in development by Erogenesis. She bends SO nicely. He does naughty art most of the time, but he wants to help the Poser community with a new figure. His Blogspot site has a LOT of promos, the most recent post shows how she bends compared to all the other figures: http://erogenesis.blogspot.com/2017/08/ ... gures.html

erogenesis already mentioned that she will be V4-based, so our Millennium 4 shaders might work out of the box. I will see about supporting it, once its out.

Unfortunately, that may not end up happening. He's made a lot of changes. I will be testing her for him, so I can see how well she works. Not sure he will be using the same material zones for one thing. Either way, word is, she may be free and then the morph packs & addons will be what cost, which is not a bad idea.

Well, this is cool! Karina figured out what caused it and made a fix for it! It's on the Sasha-16 forums (in the documentation) but I have a feeling there will be a fix eventually implemented.
