Before posting a bug report, please check the following:
1. That the issue has not already been disclosed
2. That the issue is specific to this plugin, and not Octane in general (Try reproducing it in Standalone)
Bugs related to the Octane Engine itself should be posted into the Standalone Support sub-forum.


All bug reports should include the information below, along with a detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce it.
A. Operating System, including version (i.e. Win 7, OSX 10.11.2, Ubuntu 14.04, etc.)
B. Graphics Card(s) model (i.e. GTX 580 - 3GB, TITAN, etc.)
C. RAM Capacity (i.e. 6 GB)
D. Nvidia driver version (i.e. 7.50, 7.5.22)
E. OctaneRender Standalone version, if installed (i.e. 2.24.2, 2.23, etc.)
F. OctaneRender plugin version (i.e. v2.25 - 2.21)
G. Host application version, including build number if available (i.e. 3ds Max 2016 Build 18.0)

Hi coilbook,
i tested your scene;
1200x800pxls path tracing 2000 smpx on Laptop 16Gb Gtx1070:

Render mode:
frame 1202 geometry voxel > 3.08 min
frame 1202 render time 2.39 min
frame 1203 geometry voxel > 1.19 min
frame 1203 render time > 2.37 min

Render Viewport:
frame 1202 geometry voxel > 3.36 min
frame 1202 render time > 3.24 min

thank you
if they could render around 200 frames of flying camera at 1080p pathtracing that would be nice to know if they have cuda errors

Hi coilbook,
As I wrote in PM,
about CUDA error test, developers asked to make this test:
you should have to copy the file "octane_log_flags.txt" (attacched) in Octane Standalone main root directory
remember to enable the permissions to write Octane folder.
e.g. OctaneSA select folder> Rightmouseclick> properties> security> ...
Then, restart and generated the issue (using Octane SA).
after error issue, create "Octane_log.txt" to send me: "windows > create log window", and save it.
Use attached files please, I made some mod inside them.

I will. I even get render failed while switching from AO to diffuse/pathracing while viewport is open

Developers asked it to solve your issue, do not share that is losing time to solve it.
