Some exteriors shots of my new project

Hi,

After the interior series here are some exterior shots of my last project. I used both directlighting and pathtracing, the rendering time varies from 30min to 3h30 in 1300 px (then reduced to 1024). The lighting was mainly hdr. I was quite surprised by what I could put in 896Mb, the scene has lot of trees and some geometric grass, main grass is made with plane and alpha image.

The concrete is very realistic.

Thanks guys for commenting,

@SurfingAlien: Well, this is not a project which will be realised, it will mainly be used for advertising I think. The idea is to exploit existing and reconverted industrial places, only the central bloc with the metal structure is supposed to be existing. I had some liberty here and I probably exagerated the front concrete bloc which is probably hard to be auto supported :?

The interior view give an idea of the base existing environment and of the metal structure : viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3226

Here are also some additional information, the textures are home made or grabbed on CGTextures site which provides really great textures, I usually transform them to make them tileable and to have bump and spec maps. All the trees are home made using various scripts and tools.

Nah, there is nothing hard, just expensive :D , also you usually need to nag your structural analyst till he gets conviced that he can do it, it might take some time and some bashing his head with a club, but he finally managse and does a good job too
Also those trees look fantastic, if some day you do a tutorial on how to do them I'll send over a whole 12 pack of your prefered beer ;)
