Reverting to older plugin

I recently upgraded to the latest builds of the 3ds plugins and octane render. I had to open some scenes and rerender a few frames from each and noticed the rendering looked different with the upgrades. I reverted back to my older versions of the plugins (dates around October 2016) and they still looked different. I am using the original scenes that were done with the old plugins so what could be causing the scenes to continue to be different? I uninstalled and reinstalled.

Hi masterfx,
could you kindly tell me which version have you used to create the scene?
Do you remember it? Octane V1, V2 or V3?
Your issue sounds strange, it might depend on a correct setting about materials converter tool.

Octane V3. I went from render engine 3.03_4 to 3.05.3 and 3ds max plugin version 3.03.4-4.19 to 3.05.3 - 4.30 and then back.

It appears it effected my scene scales which is why every scene was overexposed. There also seems to be a change in blackbody texture maps in self illumination. I have tested many original scenes and they are all overblown now no matter which version I use. I didnt make any changes to 3ds. Very strange.

Hi master fx,
it looks like something related to system of units.
try turning on the "Respect for File system units" option:
3dsMax> Customize> Units setup ..
before opening your files.
