Project I'm working on for fun.

TOOLS: Cinema 4D, Octane 3, X-Particle, Blackmagic Fusion, After Effects
The fire is generated with x-particle and rendered in octane 3.
Pathtracing 512 Samples
3x 980ti

Wow!. Looks amazing. I wonder how you got rid of noise / grain with such a low samples rate and PT.

Thanks Statostado
I use Neat Video to reduce the noise. Mostly it works realy great. The shots with the blue lines have 256 Samples because of the longer rendertime for this.

Thanks Terryvfx.
The specular material is just a simple specualar material :-) Nothing fancy here, no textures.

Fantastic work. Thanks for sharing it with us. What is the rendertime per frame?

That's really cool. How did you get Octane to render flames with x-particles. You did this without turbulence fd? Please share your black magic!

Thank you aggiechase37,
this was not so easy, Aoktar has implemented realy quick and it´s a bit buggy i think.
One of my problems was the tiny scale of the explosion and the second is, you dont can move the xp-domain out of the world-center. That is not so easy if you have a animation.

But it works. :-) Thanks to Aokter for quick implementing.

See my setup in the screenshot.
