When pose changes
A pose can change in a multitude of ways. Can I ask you to provide much more detail in your error reports pls? I need a workflow to reproduce the problem (ie. keypresses, menu commands, etc).

Thanks

@ Functionality of the Mouse wheel in the Node Graph Editor & Viewport
You can probably fix this by editing your c:\Users\[username]\OctaneRender\Data\OctaneRender_switches.cfg file - try changing the WheelEvents_Override value to 2.

Maybe that is part of the issue:

OctaneRender_switches.cfg file was not created by the OctaneRender_for_DazStudio_2_24_2_1_Win64 installer

OctaneRender_switches.cfg file not created by new installer.jpg

I nevertheless did find a backup copy of that file:

should I copy over backup OctaneRender_switches.cfg file.jpg

I will not try for now to copy over that backup of the OctaneRender_switches.cfg file in order not to make things potentially worse...

Unless told otherwise I will not copy over that backup of the OctaneRender_switches.cfg file in order not to make things potentially worse and just wait for another solution.
OctaneRender_switches.cfg will be included in the next release installer. Pls fell free to copy across you existing OctaneRender_switches.cfg file - it will be the same file.

YAY, problem solved! :D

With the WheelEvents_Override value to 2

- the mousewheel can be used to zoom in and out in the OcDS viewport
- the mousewheel can be used to zoom in and out in the OcDS Node Graph Editor

Thank you a lot for finding and posting the solution so quickly!

I think the default value should be 2. I will change it. And add some doco about this to the manual.

I ran a test, for the sake of testing - switched mine from default 3 to 2 and I get the same issue you two describe now :D. So 3 works for me, 2 causes scrolling up and down (double click zooms) on viewport and no activity on NGE. I vaguely recall t_3 messing about with this in the past iterations and landing on this setting.

Just a heads up :)

Do you have a normal mouse? Or something fancy?

Nothing fancy - Logitech M510. 6.1.7600.16385 standard/default driver, Windows 7 64-bit.
