Hi all,

This is a maintenance update for 2.23.2 fixing bugs reported since the last version.

Changes since version 2.23.2.

  • Fixed the network rendering bandwidth test.
  • The version number of slaves is printed in the network render dialog.
  • Fixed newlines in logging with the -v command line switch.
  • Fixed a crash when running scripts with the --no-gui command line switch.
  • Render target node names are unique on creation.
  • Fixed loading of Alembic archives twice in some cases.
  • Fixed fully transparent planes behaving incorrectly in scattering media.
  • Packages can now be used as the default project.
  • Packages can be overwritten.
  • Display the region samples in the viewport.

Great Elvis, perfect image for explaining the difference :D
Hi Rikk, OctaneVR differs from the SA in having only max 2x GPU in your system, no net-rendering capabilities and the constant internet connection for evaluating the subscription. Basically is a limited version of SA but with all the features of it and with a different license scheme. That's it ;)
