3DS Max PFlow Motion Blur

Hi all,

I'm having some trouble getting motion blur to work using particle flow in 3DS Max, I've attached a screengrab showing my settings. I found a few threads talking about this but wasn't able to solve the issue.

I've followed what I can from the documentation. Any ideas?

Cheers,

Max

I'm still stumped on this. This particular forum doesn't seem particularly active would I be perhaps better posting my questions in the demo forum instead?

Object motion blur doesn't work with particle flow. You should use Vertex motion blur for the particle flow.
I'm not %100 sure but you may need to select PFSource 001 and Event 001 and assign vertex blur to them as well.

Thanks man that solved it! I'd tried vertex motion blur in the past but nothing happened.

I didn't even know it was possible to select the event separately in the Octane properties window, can't seem to select it anywhere else. But as soon as I applied it to that it did the trick.
