Bro, first of all thank you for your hard work.

When 'show graph' is turned on SU hangs and crashes.

Bro,

I thought we'll have exactly same user interface as in the standalone for materials, viewport, nodes... but this terrible viewport with input data panel is still there.

Any plans to replace the SU viewport with standalone like one? If so, when?

When I close and reopen the viewport it remains blank.

Strange things happen - when the 'Show graph' is on the SU hangs, but when I close it (the graph) SU goes back to life.

I also noticed that there are no nodes visible when the viewport is not open - shall it work like this? (I don't think so).

Bro,

My wish (big one :)) - just get rid of current viewport and move it to the 'show graph' option, where it would have all its functionality of the standalone. And replace the 'show graph' option with 'Octane Render'. SU shall work only as geometry source, nothing else. Literally nothing else.

I am really happy to see 'show graph' - I wish it wouldn't cause SU to hang. If you have any recommendations of what can be a reason please help.

Good job Bro!

Hello again.

Fuzzy we can see that a lot has changed, thank you so much for adding the new render options from 2.22. 8-)

But after a few hours many strange things happen.

All that smicha allready pointed happened to me too.

In a new file only with the default 2d man in center if we open the octane viewport, and then close it...after a few moments if we open again,...it stays blank. Only restaring SU solves the problem.

In the "Imager" tab is missing the "highlight compression" option.

Proxies dont have the option to replace component geometry. (I think you said before...that it will be off for now)

--------

My question is how should we use the node graph?
I had some sucess changing some materials, but many times SU crashes if i change many things.
It seems that SU and Octane lose connection...and the crash.

A "small" request....can it be possible to highlight in the nodegraph the geometry we Selected in SU.
:D :D

Thanks mate.

You should not use node graph just yet. I just forgot to remove the button because it's not ready yet
