Hey guys
I thought it would be a good idea to make a quick video tutorial regarding a possible workflow, getting unwraped bitmaps on custom objects from 3dsmax to octane the easy way.

This is minded for the people that want to participate in the competition running atm. But anyone that find it usefull should take a look.

Screengrab of the model and textures created for the tutorial.

Hi,

This is very good :)
we definately need these.

I was wondering if you can make a general tutorial ?
Say, make a small scene with some object in different types of materials,
and show the whole process of exporting from max,
enabling the right exporter options etc,
then loading into octane,
and showing how to finetune the mats and settings ?

I'd love to have a complete tutorial for 3ds max users,
and i'll be happy to stick it on our videos page :)

Hello everyone,
this is my first post in this forum
Now I ask your pardon, my English is not good.

I wanted to ask if the video link is faulty or has been deleted.
I do not know if that video also describes how to organize work in 3dsmax.
seems to be some evidence that the division between objects is via layer and not by color or material.

thanks
