Out from some communication an idea to start a CASE thread sparkled =) & it mean for those who are looking for cases building their GPU based machines.

So let's agree with some guidelines:

* few pictures,
* exact model & link to official site,
* strong/weak points
(optional) * links to review sites.

Let's make life simple for ourself - those who reading & looking information. Please, avoid any information (models, companies, anything) without links - we don't want to google up, If You put a fact (model name, feature whatever)..base it with the link =)

Let's start from SilverStone FT05

* 90 degree rotated motherboard mounting,
* couple of 180 mm fans in a bottom,
* 7x PCIe slot spacing..(good for up to 3xdouble slot cards) - that's all from main features

Do like minimal look, though would prefer windowless version =) here are some pics:

Dopamine, https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/dopamine-cryptocurrency-mining-case-by-red-harbinger is the one I have my bet on.

Basically, one and only case, for an ATX MB (x99Deluxe for ex.) with enough place for 3 GPUs at least and the biggest advantage - You can take it with you on a trip riding a plane. It barely fits the requirements.

And there is place for a variety of fans. Watercooling rules :D I got 2CPU and 2GPU fans inside of there. So next flight he's coming with me :ugeek:
CPU: 5930K i7, GPU: 2x iChill Nvidia 780Ti, 980, RAM:32GB, Win 7, SSD.

Hi,
let's meet the Cosmos II Ultra Tower
http://www.coolermaster.com/case/ultra-tower/cosmos-2/

Tapperworks-Titans-preview-01-T.jpg

Nice brushed aluminum finish and opening door on the side is fabulous like opening a limo cardoor...
"come on in... get inside and have a drink on the back seat"
Also the sliding panels on the front and top are smooth.
Everything looks solid and high quality.

A minor thing is that I cannot wire the fan (inside of door) nicely and now it is just hanging.

On the website they say that itt is an airflow optimized design, but I do not agree on that yet.
I might update my findings in aircooling in this case later when having experienced working with it.
(I just opened the box and installed the Titans and I did not 'play'with it yet)
These are my findings for now:
On the side I did not mount the second fan, because of the power cables to the GPU are at the same place as the fan would be. It is possible, but a bit tricky when fan blades might hit the cables.
Another thing is the heavy construction on the front side is in the way for a optimal ariflow; you can see the construction with the holes just behind the front fan.
Therefor I have added another extra fan inside to optimize this flow (you can see it on the right side of the GPU's).
Third thing of having not an optimal airflow is the fact that the watercooler for CPU is always making the AC worse. When having it on top I was only able to have one fan (instead of 3 now). Desicion was made to have the watercooler on the backpanel which means that the main airflow is on the top and just a little bit on the back (back is now mainly for CPU).

The thing is heavy... unpacked box was about 35kg!

And it is big...

Notice the sliding panels on top and front...

notice extra fan in inside (because of obstruction airflow front)

Silverstone TJ11 has no rivals.

I own 2 TJ11 and one Cosmos II but the build quality of the Silverstone is incredible. Not cheap.

CASE-LABS SMH10

http://www.caselabs-store.com/magnum-smh10/

Strong points:
- unbelievable packaging, flat packed, individually wrapped,
- incredible build quality - thick aluminium, 100%
- thoughtfully designed with superior precision,
- beautifully powder coated
- possible radiator mounts: 560 (3x560 with optional pedestal), 2x480, 2x360 - insane!
- capable of handling large motherboards up to 346x381mm
- slots for 2 PSUs or 4PSUs (with optional pedestal)
- 40 SSD capacity
- 18 HDD capacity
- reverse motherboards tray available - like this on the photo
- almost every part is available in Case-Labs store
- custom colors, covers, door,...

Weak points:
- none, even high price for such quality is justified.
